Education is the system of processing to prepare for life itself. It is not only accumulation of facts but it is the amalgamation of knowledge imbued with wisdom and ethics. It develops the personality of the students, moulds their character and develops mental skills to help them cope with problems and challenge of the complex world of today. In order to make the students successful not only in life but conscious of their duties and responsibilities towards their fellow citizens. For this, they need to develop one of the significant character trait during their education that is a finely ingrained attitude of service before self. Keeping this vision, Rajarshi Shri Shahu Pratishthan was established in 2016.

We consider and believe that every child is unique. The aim of our school, Gladiolus English Medium School is to promote system of integral education in a congenial child- friendly environment that emphasises the unity of all knowledge, synthesizes humanity and sciences and recognizes the uniqueness of every child. We believe that every child should learn to balance the secret of success and failures. The contentment lies in discovering one’s strengths as well as limitations. We also believe that education should enable the students to soar high- morally, socially and spiritually. There is, therefore, every reason to place a renewed emphasis on the humanistic dimensions of education enabling each person to grasp and appreciate the individuality of others, and to discover one’s own self through an inner journey whose milestones are knowledge, wisdom and humility. Along with this, there are global and wide objectives set before us. At GEMS, the emphasis is given on scientific temper and generation of creative ideas. The students will also try to develop their critical and analytical mind set by developing the skills of reasoning and problem solving ultimately. The students will be able to reach sound conclusions based on observation and information.

The teachers at GEMS are free to adopt the modern innovative, experimentative methodology in their teachings in order to stimulate interest and attention among the students about not only academics but also character values. The curriculum at GEMS is developed to appreciate and maintain the eternal human values to experience the excitement of the present and the challenges of the future. There would be kaleidoscope of opportunities at GEMS, that would serve as an essential stepping stone to a fulfilling life and career. We have vowed to follow the principles of Rajarshi Shri Shahu Maharaj. We have dreamt a happy and prosperous life for every member of our society. We strongly believe that Education is the solution to convert our dream into a fact. Honestly, we are aware that it is not easy but not impossible as rightly quoted by Robert frost...
